Passionate followers of the pop star are demanding that a individual who leaped a barricade and touched the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared footage shows the individual from Australia pushing past camera operators and charging at Grande while the actors walked down a promenade surrounded by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "released after being arrested", though official papers indicated that he was scheduled to attend court on the next day. It is not clear if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed includes clips of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney performance in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last winter.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," stated an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Several supporters accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed experiencing PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming hundreds.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" said one more response on Instagram.

A number of attendees also faulted guards at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while some demanded online networks to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Response and Event Details

In clips shared widely, Grande seemed surprised when she was grabbed by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Numerous of attendees had congregated in a sea of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore venue, including some who had stood in line for as long as eight hours before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be released on November 21, is the second of a two-part version of the popular theatrical show Wicked, which revolves around the unlikely bond between two very different characters.

The show itself is a adaptation of the 1900 story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a light pink glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a black tube gown featuring roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the highest-grossing movie of the previous year in the UK, and scored ten award recognitions, winning several for best costume and set decoration.
